What is this?
24-7 this site watches your SN. If your profile ever changes, it caches the change in a database. Think of it as snapshots of your profile.

How do I add my friends?
There are two ways to do this. One is to type in a SN in the search box above and hit "search." If it is not found, it is automatically added. The second way is to send an IM to PlurkerListener with the exact phrase "add screename" where screenname is your friend's SN. Your friend will be added. This will add you to the system as well (see next question).

How do I add myself?
Send an IM to PlurkerListener. It will not reply, but big brother will be watching you. By sending an IM to this SN while your account is inactive, you may reactivate it so be aware.

How do I stop my SN from being logged?
Send an IM to PlurkerListener with the exact phrase "disable me". It will not reply, but your account will no longer show up on this site. Only you can reactivate your SN after it has been deactivated (by sending another IM to it).

How do I disable a specific entry?
To delete an entry, send an IM to PlurkerListener with the exact phrase "delete ####" where #### is the history ID. To recover an entry, send an IM to PlurkerListener with the exact phrase "undelete ####" where #### is the history ID. See the bottom of the entry page in question for more details.

I know I'm added, yet I'm not showing up. Am I doing something wrong?
Make sure your AIM™ privacy is not set so that strangers can't see you. At this time, you need a publicly accessible profile for this to work. Also, this site does not log empty profiles. If your profile has no text in it, it does not count as a revision.

How did you get my SN?
Whenever the site reads an AIM™ profile, it looks for other SNs that were quoted and adds them. Either you know the creator of this site, you added yourself, a friend added you, or somebody quoted your SN.

What other features are you planning?
In no particular order... voting and commenting on profiles, submitting screen names through the website, dynamic links to your recent history, link ranking (extracted from profiles), who-quoted-who, and emoticon conversion.

How long did this take? Why?
It took me one day to get most of it working. I made this because I hate how really good profile quotes get lost all the time due to the profile size restriction. This was launched at
5PM on January 24th, 2006.
